Industrial and Maritime Surveyors Limited (IMS) specialises in the surveys and inspections of ships, boats, cargo (bulk grain, fertiliser,fuel,vegetable oils etc),marine and industrial boilers.
Strategically located in Mombasa (Kenya),the main sea port and gateway to East Africa, IMS was founded in 1992 by experienced Marine Engineers with many years of sea-going experience, shipbuiding and repair, commercial shipping, marine and industrial surveying.
IMS carries out a number of classification and Statutory surveys on behalf of a number of international Classisication Societies. IMS is accredited to the following Classification Societies:

• Non-Exclusive Surveyors to Registro Italiano Navale (RINA)
  
• International Cargo Bureau
